Hi, God. What an awesome day you made today. The raindrops fed all the flowers, and the puddles are perfect for jumping in. Thanks for shady trees and yoyo strings. Thanks for giving us elbows so we could bend our arms in so many ways. How do you think of such cool things, Lord?

I am always looking for ways to help help my children mature in their walk with the Lord. A couple of weeks ago I was talking with my sister about our family’s devotion time and ways to keep it going and truly make it worthwhile. A few days later she forwarded me this article by Karen Deboer.

I loved the model prayer –because yeah, God truly is cool! I also enjoyed the 5 concrete prayer tips. I am looking forward to adding prayer walking and prayer journals to our routine this year. I will surely keep you updated!

How do you do devotions with your kids? How do you help strengthen their prayer life? Please share in the comment section below.

Until next time,
Stay Encouraged & Be Blessed!

About Channie

Meal prepper, lesson planner, laundry doer, activities coordinator, sibling mediator, house-cleaner, party-planner, sister, auntie, friend, and prayerfully still the best date my husband has had. Life during this season is busy--sometimes a bit overwhelming. But I have decided instead of focusing on how hectic it can all be, I am going to look for all the lessons I am able to learn right here in the middle of it!
