This week’s listening hour brought us all the way to Kenya to meet a most impressive young man, Richard Turere, who invented a way to solve a major problem that he and many others like him are faced with…mighty lions.
When you have a moment, please gather your family and take a listen to him. We all enjoyed his TedTalk so much, it fit in on some many levels with everything the girls have been learning about living things and animals.
It was also really interesting for Lela to compare and contrast her life as a new nine year-old to this young man.
